How the reader type quiz works
Each answer nudges you toward one or two of eight reader types. At the end, your strongest type is your result and your runner-up is your “dash of”. Your recommendations are tropes and sub-genres rather than specific new releases, because the best next book is the one that matches the feeling you're chasing, and you'll find plenty in your library or bookshop once you know what to ask for.

Why doesn't the quiz recommend specific new books?
Tastes are personal, and new releases change every week. Tropes and sub-genres travel better: tell a librarian or bookseller “found-family fantasy” or “small-town cozy mystery” and you'll walk out with a great pick. The classics we suggest are in the public domain.
Can I share my result?

I got a type that doesn't feel like me.
